Instruction to performing a recovery check

The recovery check is in the app catalog with all the apps for the various coins/tokens. Here’s how to do a recovery check.

Make sure you are using the latest version of Ledger Live.

Step 1: Open Ledger Live > Manager, and Type in “recovery check” under the “App Catalog”, then install the app on the Ledger device.

Step 2: Scroll to the app on your device and press both buttons to select it. The Ledger Nano will then take you through the steps to confirm your word seed.

That’s yet, you can now do a recovery check on your seed. Once this is done, make sure you store your seed securely in a lockup box, where only you can access it.
